2017 Fall Registration Updated 7/24/2017


May 15, 2017 – June 15, 2017 online only at: REGISTER HERE


Registration Fee: $99 thru June 3rd; $110 after June 3rd

For family of 3 or more, registration is reduced to $55 for the 3rd player.  

Late fee of $15 will be applied after June 15th and players will be placed on a wait list pending team availability.

Payment by credit card only.  Players will not be placed on teams unless payment has been made in full.

Refund Policy: If a refund is requested for any reason prior to registration closing a full refund will be provided, less a $5 administrative fee.  No refunds will be issued after June 15, 2017.

Skills Assessments:

PYSL will be holding MANDATORY skills assessments on Saturday, June 3, 2017 (Rain Date June 4).  Players should bring a soccer ball and wear shin guards and cleats.

Girls currently in grades 2 - 5 (Fall grades 3 - 6) will be 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.  Plan to arrive at 2:45 to check in.  Boys currently in grades 2 - 5 (fall grades 3 - 6) will be 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.  Plan to arrive at 5:15 to check in.

All assessments will be at Field of Dreams. Any player who is not assessed will normally be placed on the lower team if there are two teams for that age group.

RAFFLES:  For the first time PYSL will be raffling off some very cool NE Revolution and PYSL items during the Skills Assessments!!  All money earned will go directly to keeping the registration fees low.  More details will be provided before June 3.


The PYSL Spring soccer season will begin September and run for 10 weeks.  There will be 5 home games played at the Field of Dreams in Plainville as well as 5 away games.  Games are played on Saturdays.

Team practices are typically held twice each week.  The schedule will not be available until closer to the season start date and is determined by the team coach.



All PYSL players are required to wear the full Under Armour uniform which includes jersey, shorts and socks.

Age Requirement:

PYSL Player Code of Conduct Updated 5/9/2017

In order to advance the principles of sportsmanship and fair play, and to promote mutual respect among players, coaches, and referees, PYSL & BAYS (Boston Area Youth Soccer) have established Player Codes of Conduct.





  • Be sensitive to the physical and emotional well being of their teammates and opponents.
  • Respect all coaches, players, league officials, referees and spectators.
  • Obey all rules outlined in this Player Code of Conduct during all games, practices and tournaments.
  • Treat all public property/facilities (home and away) with respect and clean-up after yourselves.
  • Represent the town of Plainville with pride, dignity, and good sportsmanship.



  • Question a call or decision made by any referee or coach.
  • Use abusive or profane language.
  • Taunt or humiliate any player, either teammate or opponent.
  • Physically fight or act in an inappropriately aggressive manner with any player, either teammate or opponent.
  • Abuse, mistreat or mishandle any PYSL or league equipment or property.



Plainville Youth Soccer teams play in the BAYS league. Therefore, in addition to the above PYSL Code of Conduct, our players must also adhere to the following BAYS Code of Conduct.

  • Play to win.
  • Play fair.
  • Observe the laws of the game.
  • Respect opponents, teammates, referees, officials and spectators.
  • Accept defeat with dignity.
  • Promote the interests of football.
  • Reject corruption, drugs, racism, violence and other dangers to our sport.
  • Help others to resist corrupting pressures.
  • Denounce those who attempt to discredit our sport.
  • Honor those who defend football’s good reputation.


All violations of the Player Code of Conduct shall be addressed on an individual basis and in accordance with a procedure established by the PYSL Board.  Violations will be addressed in a fair and timely manner.  Action taken by the PYSL Board may include, but are not limited to, a reduction in player playing time and/or the termination of the player’s privilege to participate in, or attend, any PYSL sponsored activity.


As PYSL participants are all under the age of 18, it is expected that their parent or custodian discuss this Code of Conduct with them, and take responsibility for their actions while they are participants in PYSL. 


Participation in PYSL assumes acceptance of this Code of Conduct by the player and parent/custodian.

Welcome to PYSL Updated 8/28/2016

PYSL is a travel soccer program for Plainville children entering Grades 3 through Grade 6 each Fall.

We have two seasons: Fall and Spring with Registration opening each May and January.

PYSL is dedicated towards developing, educating and creating an appreciation for the game of soccer in our community.   Volunteers for this cause are always welcome.


Our Code of Conduct Updated 4/2/2012

PYSL adheres to a strict policy of Zero Tolerance with regard to players, coaches and referees.  All players, coaches, parents, both home and away, are expected to observe the rules of fair play, sportsmanship, courtesy and should act and behave accordingly.
