The mission of the Plainville Youth Soccer League is to teach the youth of Plainville the game of soccer through the development of individual skills, teamwork and competitive play. The Plainville travel teams compete against travel teams from surrounding towns and divisions. PYSL has two seasons, spring and fall, with over 100 kids from 7-12 years of age for both boys and girls. PYSL is a member of the BAYS League, Boston Area Youth Soccer. BAYS currently has 47 member towns and is one of the 'town' leagues recognized by MYSA, Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association.
We are being asked to subsidize more and more families in these tough economic times. With families working harder and longer to meet the household budget, it is sports that often get cut from the family's budget. We are also experiencing increases in costs for uniforms, equipment and fee's.
